The Arise Jerusalem Arise (AJA) ministry, a Catholic organization based in Honesdale, premiers its weekly radio show this Sunday, June 15, over Honesdale station WPSN (AM-1590). The show will run each Sunday from 8:30 to 9 a.m.

According to Neva Rose Capezza, AJA Public Relations Coordinator, Deacon Mark Jennings of St. John the Evangelist, Mary Magdalen and St. Joseph's Parishes will propagate the devotion of Our Lady of All Graces by sharing messages attributed to her.

"Our Lady's messages reminds us to follow the teachings and laws of the Catholic Church, the Scripture and the catechism," said Neva Rose.

There will be a question/answer segment of the show done by Karin Fils-Aime and Deacon Jennings. The music will be provided by the singing group EvenSong, composed of Karin Fils-Aime, June Zeiler and Nanci Newcomb who are members of the AJA Music Ministry. The singing group has composed and recorded several new songs specifically for the radio show.

Deacon Jennings said that AJA is committed to the renewal and reunification of the Church of Christ. "The main means to be utilized to reach this goal is the promotion of prayer and more prayer."

AJA has formed prayer groups and a devotion to the Blessed Mother of Jesus under the title of Our Lady of All Graces, as means to advance their goal. Permission to promote this devotion to the Blessed Mother under this title has been given by James C. Timlin, Bishop of Scranton. The first prayer group started at St. Mary Magdalen Church, Honesdale, on August 7, 2000 and continues to meet each Monday at 7:00 p.m.

"Since that time a member of our prayer group, Alix Fils-Aime, has been receiving messages from Our Lady of All Graces," Deacon Jennings said. "These messages are submitted to Alix's spiritual advisor, MSGR. John Essef, and are then posted on our web site www.ourladyofallgraces.org." The messages will be shared on the radio show.

The radio show is named "Arise Jerusalem Arise Radio Program", the deacon stated, because "we are all Jerusalem, the temple of the Lord that needs to be rebuilt." He said they hope to reach out to as many people as possible.

He stated that the teachings will be centered on how Our Lady's messaged are applied to our daily lives.

Questions, comments or prayer requests can be directed to the Arise Jerusalem Arise Ministry, P.O. Box 310, Honesdale, PA 18431 or e-mailed to info@ourladyofallgraces.org. For more information, call 698-0776 or 253-6110.
